Whales and wines

Today we went down to Victor Harbour and the surrounding area to see if we could catch a glimpse of the whales
The Whale Centre in VH told us that 2 whales had been seen at Basham beach about 9km away so we set off on the hunt

The place was easy to find as there were loads of other people doing the same thing

There were 2 or 3 Southern Right Whales frollicking about 500m from the shore which was a bit too far for my camera to do it justice but here are a couple of shots and video of the whales





We will be popping back later in the year where hopefully they will venture closer to the shoreline.....or we'll buy some binos!

On the way back to Adelaide we stopped off for some wine tasting and I bought a couple more cases for our cellar
