U2 at Twickenham Posted by Hello

Last weekend (19th June) we headed down to Twickenham to watch U2 as part of their Vertigo tour. A really hot day and a hot bus ride from Richmond led us to the stadium. Ash were the support act and were a bit dwarfed by the size of the stadium and the stage and the 55000 crowd but were pretty good as a warm up to the main thing.

U2 entered the stadium to amazing applause and kicked off with a brilliant rendition of Vertigo. They played loads of their old tracks with Bono even taking to the drums out near the crowd at one stage. The crowd were really going mental especially during New Years Day with Adam Claytons guitar work
Overall a brilliant concert and we couldn't have asked for any better weather.
