Adelaide Fringe Festival

The past few weeks have been really hectic in Adelaide with the festival season
We went to several shows including Ross Noble, Gordon Southern, Cam Knight, Sammy J, Phil Escoffey and a few others

Ross Noble was the best act of them all and had us with tears down our faces during his 2 hour show and Sammy J and his purple puppet were simply rude and brilliant

It reminded me so much of the Edinburgh festival and Adelaide took on an even more relaxed feeling than normal

The theme of the fringe was space and there were huge astronauts dotted about the city like the 2 in Victoria Square

and the one in Light Square

Carolines dad arrived in March and also came to see some of the shows and here he is with Caroline at the Garden of Unearthly Delights where a lot of the comedy acts performed

We also went to Womadelaide music festival and for the first time this year it p*ssed it down from 5pm and after getting absolutely drenched we decided to call it a night and went home and ate pizza feeling very sorry for ourselves!!!

the best act we got to see was Transe Express - amazing stuff especially with the rain and wind

Such a pity the rain came as it was a fantastic venue in the botanic gardens and the atmosphere was really friendly and chilled
